Therapeutic work is slower and more focused on the deepest layers of muscle tissue, tendons and fascia while relaxation techniques are soothing to the nervous system, allowing your body to relax.
Thai Massage is an ancient healing art that combines acupressure from Thailand and Hatha Yoga from India.
Acupressure points, compression, traction and slow, deep stretching are all methods used to relieve tension and pain, improve circulation, boost the immune system, and balance energy in the body, facilitating a mind-body connection.
This signature session is deeply relaxing and restorative.
Treatment begins with 15 minutes of guided meditation to allow you to disconnect from the world and become present in your body. 90 minute full body massage is followed by 15 minutes of Savasana* under the Crystal Therapy Lights with optional sound healing.
*Savasana is a reclined yoga posture and is a great balancer in terms of our nervous system. Over time, Savasana teaches us how- and that we can- move from anxiety to rest and safety.
This session combines relaxation massage techniques and stillness with Reiki healing to deepen your relaxation and encourage the body to restore. Aromatherapy, chimes, singing bowls and crystals may also be used.
Reiki is a hands-on method of healing that activates, balances & increases the life force (prana,qi,chi) within us. Reiki sessions are supportive of well-being in the physical, emotional and mental body. It is believed that Reiki enhances the body's ability to heal itself.
Thai foot reflexology treats the feet, lower legs and knees in a particular sequence.
The session combines stretching, acupressure and massage to stimulate specific reflex points allowing the body and mind to return to balance. Reflexology is deeply relaxing while leaving you energized.
